Muhammad Ranjha

Special Assistant

As MMC’s Special Assistant, Muhammad Ranjha manages the organization’s administrative needs and provides operational support to the MMC team. His expertise is in managing event logistics, research, and performing special tasks to run the organization smoothly and efficiently. Muhammad previously served as Executive Assistant to the Commissioner at the New York City Department of Consumer and Worker Protection (DCWP), where he supported the Commissioner and the executive team to oversee internal and external requests and inquiries along with administrative duties for the agency. Before that, he worked on DCWP projects such as the Freelance Isn’t Free Act, where he informed freelance workers about their rights. Muhammad earned his Master’s in International Crime and Justice and his Bachelor’s in Law and Society from John Jay College of Criminal Justice and is a fierce advocate for justice.
