Daniella Burgi-Palomino

Daniella has experience across government, philanthropy, and nonprofits. In her most recent role with the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Latin America and Caribbean Bureau, she served as an advisor to policymakers and donors on issues related to democracy and human rights, influencing high-level policy and programming decisions. Prior to joining USAID, she was the Co-director of the Latin America Working Group, a D.C. based organization advocating for rights-based U.S. policies towards Latin America and the Caribbean. Daniella is a Fulbright Garcia Robles scholarship recipient and served as the inaugural coordinator of a funder’s alliance focused on migration in Mexico and Central America. She is a double graduate of Tufts University with a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy from the Fletcher School. Daniella is originally from New York City and is the proud daughter of Swiss and Peruvian immigrants.
