A Practical Guide to City-to-City Immigrant Resettlement Networks

Within the US and internationally, cities, states, NGOs, and private sector actors have recently started to establish networks to assist new immigrants in identifying and reaching destinations where they will find opportunities and assistance while also generating economic and social benefits.

The Connecting US guide, designed in New York City with the support of the Mayors Migration Council and the International Rescue Committee, provides a practical roadmap for local governments and their partners to establish collaborative approaches to receive and resettle newcomers through city-to-city immigrant resettlement networks—making immigration a win-win for immigrants and the cities where they settle.
