Clara Keller-Skupien

With a background in international history, politics and communications, Clara Keller-Skupień brings her hands-on experience at the heart of global migration governance to the team. Working with global civil society leaders, she has helped shape the participation and strategic engagement of civil society in global migration spaces such as the GCM or the GFMD, and contributed to strengthening essential partnerships with global civil society leaders, government representatives, UN agencies as well as city networks, while also developing communication products to inform the broader public about migration.
Clara also has experience at the Consulate General of Switzerland in New York, where she contributed to strengthening partnerships between the Swiss government and local actors. She holds a master’s degree in international history from the Graduate Institute of International Studies and Development in Geneva, and a bachelor’s degree in contemporary history and law from the University of Fribourg, Switzerland.
She is based in Geneva, Switzerland. Thanks to the many migrants in her family, she speaks French, English, Polish, Spanish and German.
